We got some serious clearing of the overgrown garden at the Mews in Fallowfield done on Monday – for some reason the focus had been entirely on containers so far, and not on the -South facing!- garden.. Lovely job on these containers – can’t wait to see them looking green.
All kinds of seeds went in to the new mini-greenhouse too, including aubergines destined for a sheltered sunny spot. Well, you have to be an optimist to keep gardening!
Lots of fenugreek was donated. Sold in Rusholme and elsewhere as ‘methi’, it’s used in Pakistani and Ethiopian cooking, either as micro-greens, fresh leaves, dried or the seeds as a spice.
